This list of November 2017’s astrological events is for witches and pagans who are interested in what’s going on in the cosmos. All times listed are in EST (Eastern Standard) and should be adjusted for your own time zone. Please note that this list is not even close to being exhaustive, but compiled by me to list events that are of magickal importance. This information is great to copy into your Book of Shadows if you maintain one; if you are looking for something more extensive my guide to lunar trackers is on the site here. I hope that you find it helpful; blessed be!

How to Use This Information
Planetary Movement
Planetary movement information can be helpful when performing magick, as well as looking at your own mood, or when getting into the deeper aspects of astrology.
The Sun entering Sagittarius is the start of Sagittarius season, the beginning of that zodiac sign’s time of the year. Additionally, Neptune is going direct; it spend a lot of time retrograde, so the shift with only be felt around those immediate days aka Thanksgiving.
Think of Mercury in Sagittarius and Venus in Scorpio as simple addition problems. Fiery Scorpio + Romantic Venus = maximum passion (or maybe terrible fights?) it depends on how you react to Scorpio energy. Mercury rules communication and Sagittarius is the zodiac’s teacher, so I only see the combo as a positive thing.
Moon Cycle
Information on the moon cycle can be helpful when planning rituals for either the New or Full Moon. I will cover this information in my monthly Full and New Moon posts as well, but I thought it would be helpful to have it all in one place nice and early for planning purposes. For more detail in the Moon’s sign changes throughout the month and void-of-course times I highly recommend Llewellyn’s 2017 Witches’ Datebook or Witches’ Calendar, both of which have all of that information in detail. Here I only noted the times surrounding the Full and New Moons that witches might find relevant.
